"Up North"

Peacefulness, gentleness, refreshment....These are all words that describe how I feel when we visit our friends Jim and Vicki Fleming in northern Wisconsin.  There's always a warm fire going and the conversation is real and meaningful.


We spent last weekend with these dear friends.  I do feel old however when we visit because I used to babysit for their 2 children when we all lived in Hartland.  And now their son has his own family and their daughter is having adventures around the world.  How does this happen....?

On Saturday we took the kids out to Fort Wilderness to play in the snow.  This is the camp where we did Family Camp last summer and the same camp I came to as a high schooler.  Jim and Vicki are on staff at  Fort.  We had a fabulous time!  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves....
